Glen Osmond Rd / Young St / Kenilworth Rd Intersection Project

Did you know that the intersection of Young St, Kenilworth Rd and Glen Osmond Rd is currently out for consultation for ‘improvements’?

This important intersection is one of the very few walking and cycling links across the Glen Osmond Rd corridor. Not only is it immediately adjacent to Parkside Primary School, it’s also a cycling connection between the Young St Neighbourhood Bicycle Route in Unley (which is slated for improvements soon) and the City-Crafers Bikeway in Eastwood.

Improvements here are certainly necessary, but is this the best outcome? UBUG will be preparing a submission to the Department for Infrastructure and Transport in the coming weeks. Link to details of the project and where you can have your say in the here.

Consultation closes this Sunday the 24th.
